(от лат. textura - ткань, соединение, строение)1) характер поверхности какого-либо материала, обусловленный его физическими и химическими свойствами, т. е. внутренней структурой. Текстура воспринимается зрительно и осязательно2) в КГА - стиль закрашивания, который создаёт иллюзию рельефности поверхности объекта, выполненной из какого-либо материала; осуществляется путём наложения двухмерного изображения (2D image) на каркас трёхмерного изображения (3D image). Свойства поверхности графического объекта (цвет, интенсивность, прозрачность, положение вектора нормали и др.), задаются набором параметров. Готовые текстуры часто хранятся в виде растровых образцов3) один из параметров визуального контента ( visual content) изображения, который используется при автоматическом поиске изображений (фотографий) в БД (см.
